Sweet Tea Vodka. “Warning: This Ain’t Your Grandma’s Sweet Tea.” I don’t really know how they can make that claim when they haven’t met my grandma. I’m pretty sure she would quite appreciate this sweet tea.

As a brand new Charlestonian, I have decided that I need to make a list of all the things I want to do in Charleston. The type of things that a place is known for, but sometimes when you live there you just never get around to doing. I can already check a few beaches and historical points off the list, and now I’m adding the Firefly Distillery to the list. I absolutely love this place. It’s a cute little vineyard in the middle of nowhere, Charleston. They are famous for their Firefly Vodka, which comes in amazing flavors such as peach, raspberry, sweet tea, lemonade…perfect for making the kind of girly drink I love : ) They also grow their own muscadine grapes, which are native to South Carolina, to make all of their wine. Plus, their bottles are just very pretty, which is important. I obviously took the opportunity for taking some pictures, so that you can feel like you have visited the Firefly Distillery as well. But you’re not allowed to check it off your list until you actually come visit!
