I love being crafty. But as I’ve already confessed, photography is the only thing in which I can even pretend to be semi-talented :) Maybe that’s why I’m so impressed by other forms of artwork. Enter Megan. She is spunky, fun, and quirky in all the right ways. Oh, and did I mention that she’s an amazing artist? She owns a kiln. Jealous much? I was so excited when she asked me to take photographs for her small business website. It’s always humbling when another artist asks you to photograph their work! Her business is called “Blueprint Mosaics,” for the fact that she takes an idea that a client has, and creates a custom-made piece of artwork. Not only does she do mosaics, but also stained glass (I didn’t even know people could DO that anymore!) and abstract paintings. She brought with her the bottles that she uses for the mosaics and stained glass, aaaand it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. I love rustic looking things, as we all know.
