We had a perfect (and rather warm!) January afternoon in Charleston, SC for Rachel and Luke’s engagement session. I know Rachel because her parents so graciously let me live at their house for a few weeks when I first moved to Charleston a little over a year and a half ago, while my roommates and I were on the search for a house. I was struck by their generosity in inviting a complete stranger into their house, and upon meeting Rachel, I knew that her parents kindness had been passed on to her!

Rachel and Luke are so in love. Just look at the way that Rachel looks at Luke! Not to mention the fact that she has beautiful brown eyes! I loved the way that Luke would chuckle when Rachel said something funny, and I was so excited for them in hearing about their future plans after the wedding. One of the best parts about being a photographer is that I get to see young love like Rachel’s and Luke’s, and also see couples who have been in love for years and are now having photographs of their families. Rachel and Luke, I’m so excited for what your future brings! Denver will be lucky to have you :)
