Where to even start with my dear friend Christy, who is as beautiful as any model out there. I met Christy one of my first years living in Charleston, and immediately liked her. She has this adorable laugh that makes you laugh even if you didn’t think anything was funny. You can tell that when you’re talking to her, she’s actually listening, and she is wise beyond her years. She recently moved up north with her husband and their two pups. It’s been fun to watch the two Southerners brave the northeast, especially with the blizzard that just hit :) I have so many fond memories of the two of them from game nights, bonfires in the *freezing* cold (that’s Charleston freezing I’m talking about) and Bible studies.
Before Christy moved up north, she finished her degree at College of Charleston. She is an amazing singer, and she composes music for symphonies. I remember when I was growing up, my parents made me take piano lessons. I had to compose a piece just for the piano, and that was hard enough. I can’t imagine composing a piece for multiple different instruments. This girl is seriously talented. We took these photos for her graduation announcements at the Cistern in downtown Charleston, the central point of the College. I remember just thinking we would be there for a few minutes to get a few quick photos, but as soon as I had her in front of the camera I couldn’t let her off that easy. As you can see, she’s a natural in front of the camera :)
Christy and Kyle, I miss you both so much! I can’t wait to come up to the arctic land you now call home for a visit. Thank you for being such wonderful friends to me!
