Mark and Briana * A Proposal at Kiawah Island Golf Resort

Mark is a smart man. He knew he wanted to propose to his beautiful girlfriend, Briana, and he knew he wanted it captured on film. When he contacted me, he already had his plan. He was going to bring Briana out to the picturesque Sanctuary hotel at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort and propose on the Grand Lawn. It was a busy weekend, and there were tons of kids running around the lawn, and Santa was set up at the very front of the lawn :) Mark told Briana they were just going to walk out onto the beach before dinner, and when he got all the way to the end of the lawn, with the ocean in the background, he dropped to one knee and told her how much she meant to him. Briana had a huge smile on her face, and later told me that she had NO idea he was planning on doing this. (Way to go, Mark!) We spent the next few minutes walking around the grounds of Kiawah and down to the beach. It was so sweet to see Briana’s smile that never left her face, and Mark’s obvious sense of relief that he had pulled off a successful proposal!
