My best friend got married this past April, and I was so happy to be able to stand next to her as she married the love of her life. It was a beautiful day out on Seabrook Island, and they had a beachfront wedding followed by a reception on the same grounds where they had met a few years earlier. A few months after her wedding, Lea put on her dress one more time for a little bridal session fun :) If you follow my blog at all, you might know that these are one of my favorite sessions to photograph. She had her makeup done by the talented ladies over at Black White & Blush, and we frolicked around downtown chasing the sunlight. Oh, and her dress? It was her mom’s. Yup, you read that right. Lea’s mom still had her dress from when she was married, and Lea’s sister-in-law is an AMAZING seamstress. She took out the back, made the sleeves shorter, and took the lace from the sleeves and added it to the skirt. Whenever I look at the dress, I’m still amazed at how she did that. And it fits like perfection!
Oh my word, these are stunning!!! Beautiful work Taylor!
