A Dunes West Wedding

Brandi and Max were married right on the water under a gorgeous oak tree. It was one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve ever seen that day! It was my first time photographing a wedding at Dunes West, and their garden is so beautiful! It looks like you’ve stepped into a terrace in Italy. One of my favorite parts about Brandi and Max’s wedding is how much time they set aside for portraits. Even though they didn’t choose to do a first look, I had about an hour with the wedding party beforehand, so we were able to take some amazing portraits of Brandi in her dress, and still have time for lots of photographs with the wedding party. The whole afternoon before the ceremony was so laid back, and it was full of laughter with both the guys and the girls. After the ceremony, we had a full hour with just Brandi and Max. It was right at sunset, and the resulting photos are some of my favorite portraits! If you decide against a first look, this is the way to do it.
