Katherine and Mike were married at the beautiful Palmetto Bluff this fall. Their whole wedding weekend was a flood of emotions. I don’t know how many times I saw Mike’s face crinkle up with tears through out the weekend, with Katherine looking at him just beaming. It happened at their first look outside the chapel, it happened as she walked down the aisle, and again during the toasts that evening. With that being said, another shameless plug for first looks. Mike was just as emotional when he saw Katherine walk down the aisle as he was during their first look. Whether you see each other or not before the ceremony, it’s a completely different feeling when you walk down that aisle to commit the rest of your life to someone. And their first look was so special because they were able to talk to each other. Mike told Katherine how beautiful she looked, and that moment was shared just between the two of them. Katherine is an AMAZING artist, and she designed and hand-painted all of her invitation suites and table cards. Um, are you kidding me?! I have the most talented brides :) I remember getting these in the mail and just staring at them for so long, wondering how in the world she created something so gorgeous. I love all the paper goodies anyways, and I can’t imagine how special it would be to have your wedding invitations be your own work! That emotion :) Once again, holding back tears. Even after a first look! Score! That joy. I LOVE IT. This little white chapel just makes my heart happy. This is my shot. I take it at almost every wedding and I never get sick of it :) Here are the amazing table numbers that Katherine created. What?! This black and white photograph is one of my favorites. Mike’s face as he listens to his father-in-laws toast! Just yes :)
Thank you to the vendors who made this day possible!
