A Downtown Charleston Engagement

I met Audrey and Jack on a fall evening for their engagement session in downtown Charleston. When I first meet a couple, I always love to ask them how they met. I’ve heard some great stories along the way! Like Audrey and Jack’s. They were both living in Texas at the time, and had been talking for a little bit. They hadn’t been on an actual date yet, and Audrey let it slip that she was going on a mini-vaca to Las Vegas. Jack knew that he wanted to get to know this lovely girl better, so he grabbed a friend and said “We’re going to Vegas!” They both ended up going to the Justin Timberlake concert (um so jealous!) so they count that as their first date. Seriously?! That’s a pretty epic first date. Audrey said they have so many sweet memories together, but her favorite is the first time he grabbed her hand, looked back at her and smiled. I’m pretty sure she’s getting ready for a lifetime of moments just like that one!
