Heather and Cam’s Magnolia Plantation elopement was so beautiful. Neither of them wanted the fuss of a big wedding, and the most important thing to them was saying their vows and being married. They came down to Charleston from Indianapolis because they were so in love with the sweetness and beauty of Charleston. They had visited once before, and once they started talking about eloping, they knew Charleston was the place! The morning of their wedding, we gathered at Magnolia Plantation. Cam and Heather were all smiles during their ceremony. While we were walking around taking portraits, Cam told me, “I’m so sorry, I just can’t stop smiling!” Oh my heart :) While I love big weddings, elopements are always so sweet to me. It allows the couple to be completely focused on each other and the vows they are making.
As Heather describes her wedding day: To get married at Magnolia Plantation, under their live oaks, was nothing short of a dream come true! Having fallen in love with the city’s undeniable charm over the last few years, my husband and I chose to elope to Charleston for an intimate ceremony. The decision to elope made for stress free planning and allowed us to focus on enjoying our special day. One of our favorite moments was during our vows, we both had tears resting in our eyes but we were SO happy we couldn’t cry. It was the single most romantic moment of my life. Looking back, we cherish every perfect detail of our wedding day. If we could, we would get married everyday!
Thank you to all the wonderful vendors who made this day possible!
