I had SO much fun getting to know Tessa and Dalton at their engagement session! When they contacted me to do their engagement photos, I had no idea that they had literally JUST gotten engaged. When we met up, I asked them how long ago Dalton proposed, and Tessa said, “about two weeks ago!” Two weeks ago was during the extremely rare snowstorm in Charleston (by extremely rare I mean once every 10 years, max!) and Dalton took the opportunity to propose outside in the winter wonderland. Way to go, Dalton! Once I heard about their proposal, they told me about their meet-cute at her birthday party two years ago. They were at different colleges in Charleston, and thankfully one of their mutual friends brought Dalton along to the birthday party. Who would have thought that his future wife would be the birthday girl?! I loved how sweet the two of them were together. Tessa has the most beautiful smile, and I love the way she makes Dalton laugh. I was beyond thrilled when at the end of their session, they asked if I would photograph their wedding! I can’t wait to celebrate with the two of you again this fall!
