A Sea Pines Resort Wedding

Britany and Zac were married at the beautiful Sea Pines Resort on a perfect May afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I don’t think I will ever tire of photographing couples underneath the huge oak trees, with the Spanish Moss blowing in the wind. It’s just so romantic!

Britany and Zac were a photographer’s dream couple! From the moment I walked in to meet Britany and her bridesmaids, the vibe was so laid-back and pleasant. They had scheduled in plenty of wiggle room in their timeline, so nothing about the day felt rushed. The girls leisurely got ready, while playing with Britany’s sweet mini goldendoodle and opening gifts. After the ceremony, we had a full hour and a half walking around the gorgeous property of Sea Pines taking photographs. Couples, I always say that you don’t HAVE to do a first look. But if you don’t, make sure to schedule in plenty of time after the ceremony, just like Britany and Zac did! We were able to take some of the most romantic portraits because we weren’t rushed at all. This meant that the two of them had plenty of time to hang out with their wedding party while we took photos, and then were able to spend time just the two of them on their wedding day. This is SO important to me! I want all of my couples to be able to spend quiet time thinking about what this day means.

Ok, enough of my soapbox speech :) Britany and Zac, thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding day! It was so obvious that you are both adored by your friends and family, and that you share a real, sweet, and lasting love!
