A Lowndes Grove Wedding
Kierstin + James
Was this day hot or is it just this gorgeous couple?! Well, maybe it was a little bit of both. I walked in to the whole wedding party getting preventative IV’s (smartest idea ever!) and we spent the rest of the afternoon running from the 103 degree day outside to the cool AC inside the house. We were all thankful for the ocean breeze!
Thankfully, Kierstin and James are the sweetest couple ever, and I loved watching them get married underneath the shade of the oak trees at Lowndes Grove. They’re both such easy people to be around, and I loved getting to know little parts of their relationship. Kier told me that when James proposed to her (in his lovely Irish accent during intermission of a play) she started crying. He looked up at her and said, “Why are you crying?? It isn’t going to be THAT bad.” :) Love these two :) One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is seeing two families brought together. Recently, I’ve had a lot of couples that are from different cultures as well, as was the case with Kierstin and James. I loved seeing the traditional Irish dances during the reception, and how James’ family draped Kierstin in an Irish flag, welcoming her to the family!
Kier and James, thank you so much for inviting me to celebrate your wedding with you!
