A Winter Engagement Session | Amber + Tanner
I love winter in Charleston, because “winter” is a very loose term when living here. Usually winter means put on a jacket instead of short sleeves. But y’all, it was COLD for Amber and Tanner’s downtown winter Charleston engagement session. Charleston cold. If you’ve ever experienced a below 40 degree day in Charleston you know what I mean. Where it’s 40 degrees but feels like 32 because of the humidity, and you’re wondering how it’s not snowing. So they got a true winter engagement session :)
ANYWHO, Amber and Tanner handled it like champs. I mean, they just used it as an excuse to get super cuddly. I know I say it all the time, but I’m so thankful for the type of couples that find me. Amber and Tanner, like so many of my couples before them, were so JOYFUL! Their session was spent cracking up at each other, finding ways to get warm that inevitably dissolved into fits of laughter, and Tanner making fun of himself to get Amber to giggle (see photos below!)
Amber and Tanner found me through Amber’s friend Rochelle, who was one of my brides. So their engagement session was the day before Rochelle’s wedding since they were in town, and it was so fun to see them the next day at the wedding! I’m so excited to celebrate with Amber and Tanner at their winter wedding this December at The Lace House!
