Every year, I like to do a post that reviews all my photoshoots from the past year. It’s always the hardest post to create! How can I choose just a few photos from each session and wedding? But alas, otherwise the post would be pages and pages long. For 2020, I’ve picked out three portraits from each session I did. For a year that was full of uncertainty, it turned out to be an amazing year for photoshoots! I photographed multiple elopements and intimate weddings, which have always been near and dear to my heart. I photographed many of my friends, who have grown their families this year. My fall mini-sessions COMPLETELY sold out this year, and I had many families decide to book their own session date so they could have family photos done as well. I worked with some of the most grace-filled couples, who had to change their wedding plans, their date, or their guest list. This year showed me more than ever that my couples are THE best people. Even in the midst of great sadness on their part, so many of them reached out to see how I was doing, and let me know they cared about my business. Even when their plans had changed, my wedding couples were all so joyful on their wedding days, knowing that they were still marrying their best friend. It brings me so much joy looking towards 2021 and the sweet, joy-filled people I will have the honor of photographing!
