I’m excited to be writing a blog post about another one of my favorite venues – The Legare Waring House wedding venue in Charleston, South Carolina! I have loved every single wedding I’ve ever photographed here, and I’ll share why!
The Legare Waring House is located inside of Charlestowne Landing park. There’s a few different spots for your ceremony. My favorite is a HUGE oak tree, just a short walk from the reception space. There’s a beautiful alley of oaks across from the house, and the reception space is directly in front of the house. I’ve seen the reception space with a tent and without, and both ways are beautiful!
Another favorite thing about the Legare Waring House wedding venue is that there are so many beautiful spots for photos! The trees are all beautiful, and boast the spanish moss that the south is known for! There’s a beautiful old iron gate on a tree-lined road, and you can take a golf cart to the marsh-front for gorgeous sunset photos.
Like Lowndes Grove, this venue is also a one-stop shop! There’s space for each of you to get ready without running into each other, and there’s plenty of room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all to be in separate locations. It really is a show-stopper for your guests!
