Theresa and Kyle were married on a beautiful dock overlooking the Charleston marsh. It turned out so incredible that it’s hard to imagine that this wasn’t their original plan. Theresa and Kyle were one of my many couples to have their wedding day interrupted by the pandemic. We had met up for their engagement session a year before, and I was so taken with their sweet spirits and kind hearts. Their smiles are absolutely amazing, and I probably told them that at least five times during their engagement session. Theresa let me in on the great secret that Kyle’s nickname growing up was “Smiley Kylie” for this very reason :) I mean, they seriously couldn’t be any cuter!
The two of them met in chemistry class, which might be one of my favorite stories to tell, ha! It just couldn’t be more perfect! Kyle proposed in front of the Grand Teton mountains during a road trip, which y’all KNOW I love, because anything that includes travel is my dream! Not only did he choose an amazing location, but he also made the ring box in his wood workshop. Ok Kyle, we get it, you’re amazing.
It’s impossible to be around Theresa and Kyle and not feel their love. It’s impossible to be around them and not experience joy. I felt that firsthand at their sweet engagement session, and it was no different on their wedding day. Even though a lot of things had to be changed and shifted, I can’t imagine their wedding day being any more beautiful. It was truly a celebration of their love for each other. Their family and friends were the sweetest people, and I loved hearing how much they adored this couple. I’m so honored to have been part of a day that was so focused on marriage and what a wonderful commitment that is!
