The “end of the year post” is ALWAYS one of the toughest posts to write, and my 2021 photo recap is no different… Trying to pull just one or two images from a full wedding or session is nearly impossible for me! But every year it makes me so happy to get an opportunity to go back through hundreds of weddings, sessions, and elopements and relive every amazing day. I know I say it a lot, but I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am for the people who support my business, not only by choosing me as their photographer, but also those who continually follow along with my posts and updates. 

I know photography is a luxury for many people, but to see how many people still chose to document life in these difficult years of the pandemic showed me how important it is too! However we spend our time, every second is a memory that deserves to be cherished forever. Moments are fleeting, kids grow up too fast, and having a wedding to bring together all your favorite people is the definition of joy and I’m always honored to photograph such amazing moments for my clients. These past couple years have been a reminder that I’m so fortunate to do this for a living! I’ve been inspired in so many different ways by all the unconditional love and patience i’ve seen over the pandemic and it’s constantly re-assured me that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.

And now here we are already in 2022, and I’m so excited for another year of storytelling behind the lens of my camera. Many of the couples you see in the engagement photos from 2021 will be getting married this year, and I can’t wait to be part of their day!
