A Historic Downtown Charleston Engagement Session | Michele + Alex
I often have to pinch myself that I get to take so many historic downtown Charleston engagement sessions I love that Charleston has so much natural beauty, and then when you add in a sweet, fun-loving, joyful couple like Michele and Alex you just can’t go wrong!
I’m telling you, I could NOT stop smiling as I went through these photos after Michele and Alex’s engagement session. Seriously, I probably looked a little crazy while smiling at my computer, but these two were just so cute, and had so many photos of them doubled over in laughter!
During their session I told Michele I liked her lipstick color and she said, “Oh…funny story about that.” Basically, she was texting a friend about what color to wear, and said, “I should probably wear the matte color because I’m going to be smooching Alex’s face all over.” Theeeeen… she realized she had accidentally sent it to a group thread of her medical school co-workers, some of whom were older men :) We had a good laugh about that one.
One of my favorite moments was when they were telling me about their first meeting. Michele said on their first date, he told her that he was a cat person (strike one, amiright?!) She also said, “and he was wearing a scarf,” which made me stop in my tracks and laugh because that was such a funny detail to add. Scarf and cat person aside, they ended up together. And now Alex loves dogs :) They have a pup named Ruth, and he even lets her sleep next to him in bed and wanted to show me pictures of her. Good job, Michele!
I’m so excited for their wedding this fall at the gorgeous Cannon Green!
