A James Island County Park Maternity Session | The Rog Family

This James Island County Park maternity session was one of my favorite sessions because that girl is one of my BFF’s! You might remember Shannon and Jesse from my blog post of their engagement session last year. I then had the privilege of standing next to Shannon as her co-matron of honor as they got married! And now, they’re about to meet their TWINS in just a few short months! Dang. Talk about a whirlwind!

It’s honestly been such an honor to be able to photograph so many of my friends in their different life stages, whether it’s an engagement session, maternity and newborn session, or family photos! It always makes me smile when fall mini sessions come around each year, and 80% of the sign ups are friends of mine, or past couples who want some new portraits! 

I’m so incredibly excited to see Shannon and Jesse as parents. They were the first people (besides family of course) who watched Benjamin overnight (for a few nights, in fact!) while Drew and I went on a trip. If anyone can do this twin thing, it’s them! I’m pretty sure Shannon already knows things I still don’t know about taking care of babies, ha! I can’t wait to meet these little munchkins and give them the biggest smooch!
