A Zero George + White Point Gardens Intimate Wedding in Charleston, SC | Karla + David
Karla and Dave had the most beautiful intimate wedding a few weeks ago at Zero George and White Point Gardens. The details were perfection. Kayla had the most beautiful two piece gown from BHLDN. Am I the only one who has never been disappointed by a BHLDN gown?? Every time I have a bride wear one, I’m so excited to photograph her in it! The flowers were gorgeous for their early summer wedding, with the pops of fuchsia and the huge blooms of peonies. And their getaway car from the ceremony? A romantic horse drawn carriage! But more than all their details, Karla and Dave together are perfection. I could tell they were both nervous right before they first saw each other, but the smiles on their faces as soon as they laid eyes on each other shows that they found their person. They’ve been with each other through a lot already, and it’s made their love so strong. I’m so happy that these two got to start their forever on a beautiful Charleston day surrounded by their family, and the next day got to celebrate with their closest friends at their reception at Leon’s Oyster Shed. All their friends gathered there the day after their ceremony for toasts, dancing, and lots of good food, thanks to Leon’s!
Y’all know how near and dear elopements and intimate weddings are to my heart. I love big weddings too, but I think there’s something so special about a wedding shared with just a few of your closest friends and family. It lets the couple reflect on the meaning of their marriage, and make sure that the details that truly matter to them are the ones that are in focus. Thank you for letting me be a part of this, Karla and Dave!
