A Magnolia Plantation Wedding

Tara and Pete’s Charleston wedding was such a lovely day! I met Tara at Studio Barre over a year and a half ago. She had just opened the studio, and I was in the mood for a good workout. And let me tell you, a good workout is what I got! We started talking after class and I mentioned that I was a wedding photographer. She tucked that away (for those barre ladies, you get my joke ;) ) and a few weeks later she mentioned that she was getting married in May and needed a photographer. I was already in love with barre, and her studio in general, so I was so excited when she asked me to be her photographer! She didn’t mention until her engagement session that she used to be a model :) On their wedding day, Pete and Tara’s family only had the highest praises to say about them. Tara’s little sister talked about what an amazing woman Tara is, and how even though they are grown up, she still wants to be just like her. Her father spoke of her amazing business skills and how proud he is that she owns her own business. Pete is the baby of the family by a good amount of years, and his brothers talked about how kind hearted he is, and how proud they are of the man he has become. Tara and Pete, thank you so much for letting me walk alongside you through this journey! And as I’m posting this, they’re on their European honeymoon! I’m not jealous at all ;)
