A Historic Rice Mill Wedding

Megan and Andy…what an honor it was to celebrate your wedding day at the Rice Mill with you! Megan was a beautiful, laid-back bohemian princess, and the way Andy looked at her all day just made me melt. I’ve been excited about their wedding since the day I met them for their engagement session. They brought their pups, Chief and Folly, along for part of the session, and we had so much fun wandering around downtown and the newly renovated Colonial Lake! They are both such genuine, caring people. Sometimes I don’t know how in the world I am so blessed with the couples I get to photograph!

Megan and Andy both laugh at how they met, because it was at a bar. Megan told me, “I NEVER go to bars. NEVER.” But of course the one time she obliged a friend who was having a birthday party, she met the love of her life! Andy proposed one night while they were walking their dog Chief along Folly Beach (and now they have a pup named Folly!) and he had her family and a few of their closest friends hiding out in the dunes ready to celebrate.
