Charleston Maternity Photographer

Well, cue the tears, folks. I was so thrilled to be the maternity photographer for these two. This couple is one of my favorite couples in the whole wide world. Drew and I have known Cam and Britt since early on in our Charleston days (actually, we knew Cam in college, but that’s another story for another day.) Drew and Cam lived together for a year or so, and I remember the first time I met Britt. I had just come over to Drew’s house from work, and had forgotten a change of clothes. We were about to do something outside, so I borrowed a pair of workout shorts and a t-shirt from Drew. Britt showed up, and I was so embarrassed to be meeting her for the first time looking like that. Little did I know, she would become one of my best friends and would see me looking much sillier than that! Plus, she is one of the kindest, most welcoming people you will ever meet, so there’s no way she cared what I was wearing :) We’ve been to different countries with these two, roomed together on cruise ships and in RV’s, laughed until we cried, played way too many rounds of Nertz, and eaten thousands of meals together. You just won’t find better people than these two.

I cried the day they told me they were pregnant (they had to tell us multiple times because I kept missing their hints) and I am so unbelievably excited to meet this baby! They’re being surprised like we were with Ben. I’m thinking it’s a boy, but that might just be because out of our group of friends, Ben is the only boy out of 6 babies born recently, so I’m just hoping for a playmate for him. But boy or girl, I’m pretty sure Ben and this baby will be besties! How soon is too soon to take two babies on an RV roadtrip?
