I take my job really seriously. Now look, I know I’m not performing brain surgery or anything like that. But photography is a luxury item for sure. I know all my couples and families work really hard, and they’re choosing to spend some of their hard earned money with me. Trusting me to document a wedding that they’ve spent a year planning, or a sweet moment in their family’s life that will literally only happen once. I don’t take that lightly!

You can trust that I will show up to every session prepared and ready to go. That I’ll be excited to see you, that I’ll make myself look ridiculous to get your kids to laugh, that I’ll carry your purse (and your fiance’s phone, wallet, keys, etc) while we’re taking engagement photos, and that I’ll bend down to place (and re-place) your dress perfectly 101 times on your wedding day.

This isn’t just a job for me. It’s truly an honor that people chose me to photograph their lives to create memories, and I don’t take that for granted!

I loved getting to spend the sunset hour one evening with the Hough family! They were doing a little road trip vacation, and one of their stops was Folly Beach! Their little ones did SO well, even though we were really pushing it with bedtime trying to get that perfect lighting! I love all the snuggly, sweet moments, and the crazy moments too, because isn’t that what family life is truly like?!
