A Post House Inn Wedding in Charleston, SC | Echo + Marcus
Echo and Marcus had the loveliest intimate wedding at the Post House Inn in Charleston this spring! They are one of the many couples that makes me adore my job so much. I’m so blessed that in a world where there is so much brokenness, every week I get to experience so much joy, goodness, and love. That’s exactly how I felt leaving Echo and Marcus’ wedding.
At their engagement session on Folly Beach, I noticed that Echo was always smiling. Like, ALWAYS. And meeting her family on their wedding day, I could see exactly where she gets it from. They were so fun, bursting with laughter and joy all day.
I absolutely loved getting to meet Echo and Marcus’ family. They were so FUN, and it gave me a glimpse into why Echo and Marcus are the coolest people. Echo’s aunt Ayana turned everything into a song, and she was pleasantly surprised to find out that I knew most of her song references and started singing along. I’m not sure if that makes me cool or just old, because they were all throwing me back to middle school.
Also during their engagement session, Marcus commented halfway through the session how these photos were “going to be fire!” Echo brought it up again when I was saying goodbye to them after their wedding, and if I do say so myself, I think both their engagement photos and their wedding photos are fire for sure! It’s not hard when you have the most smiley, gorgeous couple behind the camera.
I’m so happy that after a long distance engagement, this power couple finally gets to live in the same city! Both being doctors, they’ve had a crazy past few years getting through school. I’m so happy that the medical field gets to have Echo and Marcus as doctors…I know they’re going to be amazing, caring, brilliant doctors, and their patients will be so fortunate to have them! I know these two are going to make the world a better place, and I’m so glad I got to know them and see this part of their story unfold!
