A Charleston Marsh Engagement | Fallon + Shane

I met Fallon and Shane at their home for a gorgeous Charleston marsh engagement session! This was such an amazing location, made even better by the fact that it was right outside their house! I love when couples can choose a place that’s meaningful to them for their engagement session. 

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have already read their meet-cute story, but it NEEDS to be told again! I’m obsessed! Fallon was on a sort-of impromptu vacation, and they were sitting in the same airport terminal. They got to talking and really hit it off. ⁠

Fallon boarded the plane thinking how sweet Shane was, but that she probably wouldn’t ever see him again. By some crazy twist of fate, Shane boarded the plane…and guess where his seat was? Yup, right next to Fallon! ⁠Obviously, they talked the whole plane ride, and exchanged numbers at the end, neither of them really knowing where it would lead. They lived in different states, and weren’t sure what the next steps were. 

Shane decided to take a “camping trip” out to Charleston, where Fallon lived. He didn’t want to be crazy and say he was just going to visit this girl he met on a plane, so he told everyone he was going camping, when really he just booked a hotel in Charleston. Even Fallon didn’t know that he was actually ONLY coming down for her! They went out on a date, and from there it was history! They did long distance for a while, both traveling back and forth to see each other. 

I love this story so much, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in a few short months!
