A Downtown Charleston Wedding

Rena & Panos

One word comes to mind when I think about this wedding: JOY. Just look at Rena and Panos’ faces in almost every photo. Smiles from ear to ear. Rena was a bundle of laughter all day, and the way Panos looked at Rena would make any hopeless romantic melt. I love weddings where everyone is just happy. Where it doesn’t matter how warm or cold it is, if the sun comes out or not, if someone steps on your dress and you hear a tear (that actually did happen, just before the ceremony! And Rena just stopped, turned around to look, and shrugged.) All that matters is that this is the day that two people come together to become one. It doesn’t happen every time, but when it does, it’s a beautiful thing.

I’m so thankful that Rena and Panos chose me to be a part of their wedding day. Just by looking at them, you can tell that these two are a power couple, and they are going to do amazing things with their lives!

Note to self (as I just learned while doing this post): Don’t listen to Christina Perri while looking through beautiful wedding pictures. It WILL make you cry.
