A Folly Beach and Charlestowne Landing Engagement

Jenna and Eric were in Charleston for a friends wedding, and decided to take advantage of vacation by getting their engagement photographs taken. I was intrigued by these two from the first time that I talked with them. They had met at work. But not at a restaurant or an office, but on an oil rig. Even after having them explain this to me at least three times, I’m still not really sure I understand what they do. But I do know that they have been able to travel to some pretty epic places. They told me that they have had to do long distance for a few months at a time when one of them is on the rig. When couples tell me this, it always makes me think back to the time my husband and I did long distance for two years while we were dating. It makes the time together so much sweeter, and it was obvious that Jenna and Eric were so appreciative of this time together.

Jenna told me about the first time she met Eric. He walked into her office, said hi to her, and the first thing she said was “Hi I’m Jenna, and I have a boyfriend.” But obviously, Eric won her over with his sweet smile and great sense of humor :) I’m so happy to have had the chance to get to know them on their vacation!
