Allie & Wes | Mingo Point

A Mingo Point Wedding

Allie & Wes

Pure, unadulterated joy. That is my favorite thing to see in a couple, and it completely and totally described Allie and Wes.

The moment I walked in to their getting ready villa and saw Allie’s huge smile, I knew it was going to be a good day. The whole day, neither Allie nor Wes was worried about anything. I don’t think the smiles ever left their faces. On the boat ride after their ceremony, Allie kept repeating, “I’m so HAPPY!” It’s beautiful to see two people so confident in their love, so comfortable in each other’s arms, and so joyful to be spending the day with all their closest family and friends.

Allie and Wes met on a beach, got engaged on a beach, and decided it was only fitting that they were married close to the beach!

They met through mutual friends, and even though they were living on opposite sides on the country, they realized they had so much in common. Allie left the weekend pretty bummed that she wouldn’t see Wes again, but thanks to some hardcore Facebook stalking, he had found her and sent her a message before her plane even landed. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when Allie’s brother, their officiant, read some of those early Facebook messages they sent each other while falling in love. He had Allie and Wes doubled over in laughed as he read their silly messages complete with emojis. Everything about Allie and Wes just radiates joy, and I love that they were able to share those moments with family and friends.

Allie and Wes, congratulations to you a million times over!
