I loved Alyssa and Garrett’s wedding from the moment I stepped foot onto Old Wide Awake Plantation in Charleston, SC. I already knew I would, since I had such a blast with Alyssa and Garrett (and their pup!) at their engagement session last year. They both have the greatest smiles that spread across their whole faces, and they are so easy to get along with. So besides the fact that I already like them as people, I walk into a gold themed wedding day. I. Love. Gold. Alyssa had spent months finding all the details for their wedding day, and it came together flawlessly. And their naked cake? Gorgeous.

Alyssa and Garrett chose to do a first look, and I have so many photos that I am in love with from their time together. We drove down the road just a bit to the water, and Garrett cried when he saw Alyssa for the first time. One of my favorite moments of the day was after the saying of “I do” and the kiss, when the fountain went off behind them. I’m pretty sure it was a surprise to everyone, even the bride and groom! They danced the night away under the twinkling stars, which was such a perfect end to a beautiful day.
