A Lowndes Grove Wedding

Kierstin + James

Was this day hot or is it just this gorgeous couple?! Well, maybe it was a little bit of both. I walked in to the whole wedding party getting preventative IV’s (smartest idea ever!) and we spent the rest of the afternoon running from the 103 degree day outside to the cool AC inside the house. We were all thankful for the ocean breeze!

Thankfully, Kierstin and James are the sweetest couple ever, and I loved watching them get married underneath the shade of the oak trees at Lowndes Grove. They’re both such easy people to be around, and I loved getting to know little parts of their relationship. Kier told me that when James proposed to her (in his lovely Irish accent during intermission of a play) she started crying. He looked up at her and said, “Why are you crying?? It isn’t going to be THAT bad.” Love these two

Kier and James, thank you so much for inviting me to celebrate your wedding with you!

Lauren + Austin

I know what you’re thinking. “Oh, those models from this styled shoot are really stunning.” But no. This here is a real couple who just got married at Lowndes Grove. Somehow were worried they were going to look awkward in photos. Lauren and Austin are beautiful people! But more than that, they are wonderful people. I walked in to Lowndes Grove and Lauren leapt up with a huge smile on her face and gave me the biggest hug. Austin had a huge smile on his face as he walked down the aisle, which quickly dissolved into tears when he saw Lauren.

Lauren laughed as she told me that she was the little girl who dreamed about her wedding day, and as she and Austin stood on the dock, she told him that he was worth the wait. Austin had said that he was most excited about seeing Lauren walk down the aisle, and they both cried as Lauren and her dad walked down the aisle. I’m pretty sure they cried at least four more times during the rest of the night, during dances, toasts, and simply being around all their favorite people.

I loved hearing both of their younger siblings tell them how much they looked up to both of them while growing up, and how they still see both Lauren and Austin as role models because of the kind, warm, loving people they are. It was so easy to see how loved they both are! Congrats on a beautiful day, and I’m so honored that you chose me to be a part of it!
