17 days. The number of days I’ve been in Charleston

16 days. The number of days since I started work

1 day. The number of days until I move into my new house!

What I’ve Learned So Far:

Once again, I’ve been AMAZED by God’s faithfulness and goodness. My time here so far has been a little bit stressful as nothing has really gone according to plan, but as 2 Corinthians 12:9 promises, His grace is sufficient for me and His power is made perfect in my weakness. Just a little update on how things have been going: the first house that I was supposed to be living in fell through because a number of circumstances out of anyone’s control. And then we went from 4 roommates to 3, once again for reasons out of anyone’s control. So here we are, the 3 musketeers, homeless. And then my roommates pastor’s family welcomes me into their home like they have known me forever. I was BLOWN AWAY by their hospitality. They are truly a family who knows Jesus, and it’s so evident by the way they live. They have been an incredible blessing to me in my few days here in Charleston. And through other series of events that are way too detailed to get into on my little blog posts, God has blessed us with another house that is absolutely perfect, and we get to move in tomorrow! I couldn’t be more excited to finally unpack all my stuff, and finally have it all in one place instead of spread out across two houses and my car : ) Thanks to all of you who have been praying! It’s so exciting to me that I can look back on this whole experience and be reminded of God’s faithfulness and provisions for me, once again : )
