A Styled Honeymoon Photoshoot

This honeymoon styled shoot was SO. FUN! For the inaugural addition of A Lowcountry Wedding’s print magazine, editor Erin asked Chloe and I if we would do a styled shoot showing brides examples of what to bring on your honeymoon. Chloe is the fashionista behind TopKnots and PolkaDots, and I loved every single style she pulled together for the session. The looks that she wanted to inspire brides with were exploring, relaxing, a night on the town, and hanging out at the beach.

Chloe’s first look is for exploring. As she says, “When you’re exploring the town on your honeymoon, the goal is to be comfortable but still effortlessly adorable.” :) Well put, Chloe! Don’t we all love to be effortlessly adorable? I absolutely loved her flash tattoos! They add so much glamour without having to pack a ton of jewelry.

For relaxing, Chloe chose an adorable little sundress and some matching aviators. Easy-peasy!

Maxi dresses are THE BEST. They are comfortable, and so glamorous without any fuss! I love how Chloe matched her purse and lipstick to the pop of color at the top of her dress. And those gold sequins? Can’t resist a little sparkle.

And the cutest little black one piece ever! It’s like the bathing suit version of a LBD. She blinged it up with a gold body chain, a huge floppy hat, and a fun and practical Zara kimono to cover up.
