Now that we are headed into summer and my spring season of weddings is coming to a close, I can finally start blogging some of the beauty I was able to be a part of! Sam & RJ’s wedding was my first of the season, and man oh man was it a good place to start! I photographed Sam and RJ’s engagement session last year, in the DEAD HEAT of summer. I think it was literally the hottest day of the year. But the two of them took it in stride, cuddling up and laughing and even jumping in a fountain :) Sam got ready for her walk down the aisle in the beautiful John Rutledge House on Broad St. Seriously, it was one of the most gorgeous places to take getting ready photos! The two were married at St. John the Baptist, and Sam could barely hold back her tears as she walked towards a beaming RJ. Their ceremony was filled with tears, laughter, and all the best kinds of emotion. Later, we drove out to Magnolia Plantation to spend the evening with friends, family, and even a few peacocks. Sam & RJ, thank you SO much for choosing me to document your wedding day!
RJ’s sister had to wear a neck brace due to an accident just before the wedding, but she was SUCH a good sport about it! She doubled over in laughter (well, as much as she could!) when all the girls pulled out their own neck and arm braces :)
Those smiles :)
Thank you to all the vendors who made this day possible!
