Dana & Jim

Dana and Jim were my dream couple in the fact that their wedding day was about the start of their marriage more than anything else. While it was still an incredibly beautiful wedding, held in a tiny, bright chapel, with stunning flowers, a drool-worthy cake, and the perfect dress, you could tell that the focus was marriage. It was about the start of their family as one unit.

The two of them met through a mutual friend, and on their first date, Dana said that Jim surprised her with three sunflowers, not even knowing that they are one of her favorite flowers. (Yup, meant to be!) A few years later, Jim bought some more sunflowers, took Dana to Edisto Beach, and asked her to spend forever with him.

Dana and Jim, it was such an honor for me to photograph your wedding, and have a little glimpse into your sweet love for each other!
