So before all this craziness with COVID-19 happened, and we could all gather together in groups more than 10 and not have to worry about being 6 feet away from everyone, Rochelle and Austin got married at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation! It seems like forever ago even though it was only the end of February, but so much has changed since then. This happened to be my first wedding back from maternity leave, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate!
Fun fact, Rochelle got ready in the same Airbnb on Isle of Palms that I did for my wedding day, 6 years ago! So that was a fun little walk down memory lane :)
Rochelle and Austin two were the picture of complete joy on their wedding day. Rochelle kept telling her bridesmaids not to worry about her dress…”I’m getting married outside, it’s going to get dirty, it’s fine!” she kept saying while laughing. She even laughed off the fact that she potentially broke her finger on her right hand that morning when she slammed it into a chair. (Am I the only one who can relate to that? I run into things more than I care to admit…)
