Legare Waring Maternity Session | Danielle + Justin

Danielle and Justin’s session at Legare Waring House were my first session post-maternity leave. It was extra special because it was a maternity session! Not only that, but it was for a past couple of mine, Danielle and Justin. First of all, Danielle, you are a GODDESS! I’m so happy that you will have these photos to show your little guy one day so he can see that you were absolutely glowing!

During the last part of the session when Danielle was looking down at her little boy, she started to tear up. She told me how she was getting emotional thinking about him and how special he already was to her and Justin. I told her to go ahead and let those emotions out, because it SHOULD feel like that! What a precious gift he’s going to be, and he is so loved already! Since having Ben, I’ve been over-the-moon excited for all my friends and couples who are having babies for the first time. I really didn’t understand the intense, immediate, and fierce love you have for this little human until I experienced it for myself. No matter what anyone told me, there was no way to prepare myself for that. Knowing that, I feel so excited for what’s to come when I’m photographing a maternity session!
