Maternity Photographer in Charleston, SC

Being a maternity photographer is always so special. It’s a time of excitement and unknowns, even if you’ve already had a baby, since every one is different! This maternity session was extra special to me, because the woman in these photos is my best friend! I absolutely loved that I got to take these photos for her. It’s pretty crazy to me that we live four minutes apart from each other. We met the first day of freshman year of college in Chicago, where we lived across the hall from each other. Fast forward to junior year when we once again lived across the hall from each other in our apartments. We decided it would be fun to start a dance team for our college, so we did! After we graduated we moved to Ecuador together to teach Zumba, because we weren’t ready to stop dancing yet. One day we were watching The Notebook and decided that we should move to Charleston together. So we did. Now, here we are, 14 years after we first met (!!) and we made a pact to never leave each other. I’m so happy that we get to be such a close part of each other’s lives and watch our little ones grow up together!
