There are so many great venues in Charleston, South Carolina, which is why it’s one of the top destination wedding locations! Today I’m going to share one of my favorite Charleston wedding venues, Lowndes Grove wedding venue.
Lowndes Grove wedding venue is one of the few venues in downtown Charleston with a water view! One of the best parts about Charleston is being right on the water, and what a beautiful feature for a wedding! Your ceremony can take place overlooking the water, and the reception tent is directly in front of the long dock leading out over the marsh. Let’s just talk about a beautiful sunset!
My other favorite part about Lowndes Grove wedding venue is it’s literally a one-stop shop. There’s room for both of you to get ready without seeing each other, and these rooms are GORGEOUS. Forget the dark basement of some venues for the groom to get ready in. These rooms are light and bright with beautiful chandeliers and furniture. There’s plenty of room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all to be in separate places, so there’s no flipping required!
Lowndes is such a romantic venue for couples who want to show off the beauty of Charleston, and its southern style. I also love how it’s right downtown, which makes it so easy for your guests! They can book a hotel downtown and easily Uber (or drive, since there’s a parking lot!) to Lowndes. And it makes the after-party super easy too!
