Mackenzie + Patrick

Mackenzie + Patrick had a beautiful Legare Waring wedding this spring, which if you’ve followed my accounts for any amount of time, you know is one of my favorite Charleston venues! Mackenzie and Patrick took advantage of all the beauty this location has to offer. I loved Mackenzie’s boho glam look, with her glorious braid (which is all her real hair, by the way. I’m extremely jealous.), her flowy dress and faux-fur shawl for when it got chilly. They were married under the Avenue of Oaks, and I love how they incorporated their the boho-look into their arbor!

Mackenzie and Patrick are such a beautiful, sweet couple. I met these two last year over drinks in downtown Charleston, and loved their easy-going nature. And I’m telling you, there couldn’t have been a more chill couple on their wedding day! When I arrived, the sky was threatening rain, and they didn’t have a tent on hand. I braced myself when walking in that Mackenzie might be a little upset. But when I walked in, she was all smiles, excited to see Patrick, and just happy that it was her wedding day! Thankfully, the clouds parted and we had beautiful sunshine! You can see the joy in their photos…they were so relaxed, and so thrilled to be together.

The day was only made more perfect by their sweet son, Wyatt, who was their ring-bearer! He was so adorable in his tiny little suit, and he carried around his little stuffed bunny all afternoon.

Mackenzie’s mom did ALL her florals for her wedding, and they were incredible!! Their dream team of vendors pulled off the most perfect day, and I told Mackenzie at the end of the night that her family and friends were so welcoming, so excited, and made for an evening of fun!
