An Intimate Garden Wedding in Charleston, SC | Callie + Ben

Callie and Ben tied the knot this spring in an intimate garden wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. I had met the two of them for their engagement session at Hampton Park, and I knew that their wedding day was going to be filled with so much joy!

At their engagement session, Ben told me that he was in a band. He was very modest about it, but then Callie filled me in on the real story. His band, Carson Peters and Iron Mountain have played at the Grand Ole Opry! They’re on Spotify, so you can bet I listened to them on the way home from their engagement session, and have continued to listen to them since! So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that two of Ben’s bandmates (one of them being his dad!) were the musicians as Callie walked down the aisle! Talk about a personal touch!

I loved talking with Callie’s mom before she helped her into her dress. She told me that Callie and Ben are super young, and with any other couple, she would be wary about getting married so young. But she said that with these two, you just know they’re meant to be together, and they’re both mature beyond their years! It’s so sweet to hear family members speak so highly about the couple, and I feel so fortunate that my couples are always such wonderful people.
