A Salty Oak Farm Wedding in Charleston, SC | Jennie + David

Jennie + David + my favorite nose and eye crinkles.⁠⁠

If you saw their engagement post, you’ll already know that I LOVED Jennie’s sweet nose crinkles every time she smiles! This girl smiles with her whole face, and it’s so beautiful. I’m not the only one who loves this. After I did their engagement post on Instagram, her mom reached out and told me that her whole family loves them! They call it scrunch nose in their family :)  And David even mentioned her nose crinkles in his vows! You can bet I was smiling from the back of the aisle when I heard him say that. 

One of my favorite moments of their Salty Oak Farm wedding day was when I was walking up to the house where the girls were getting ready. Before I reached the door, Jennie BOLTS out in her robe, skips across the lawn, squeals, and bear hugged me. I love when I get to know my sweet couples before their wedding day, and this is why! It’s so much fun to show up to a wedding day and be truly excited to see my couple, and thankfully have them feel the same way!⁠⁠

Everything about Jennie and David’s wedding was so magical. From their exchange of letters (or a whole novel in Jennie’s case) to their prayer with each other before the ceremony, to their INCREDIBLE music choices (seriously, every song they played at their ceremony was giving me chills!) to the tears that were shed during toasts – it was a lovely day.
