The adorable Pink Figgy + an intimate wedding? Ok, this is what dreams are made of! Y’all know how much I love micro weddings at White Point Gardens. They’re intimate and romantic, with the huge oak trees, the water in the distance, and the pastel homes lining the street. And then you add in the cutest little pink car and you just can’t get any better. From the very beginning of talking with Melanie and Mark, I loved their ideas and plans for their wedding day. I love when intimate weddings still go all out. The beautiful florals, the long, lace dress, the vintage car…just because you’re not having a 120 person wedding doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get to have all the beautiful details!
One of my favorite parts was that Melanie was walked down the aisle not only by her dad, but also by her and Mark’s pup, Brave! (Also, can we talk about what a cute name that is for a dog?!) I might have had way too much fun photographing the interaction between Brave, the flower-dog, and Melanie and Mark’s littlest niece, the flower-girl :)
After the ceremony and some time taking portraits with Pink Figgy, Melanie and Mark had their reception dinner at Xiao Bao Biscuit. If y’all have never tried this restaurant, you definitely should! One of the little gems in Charleston that has been around for a long time. They were kind enough to let us take a few photos at the bar, which was a fun ending to a perfect evening!
