Downtown Charleston Engagement Photographer * Kate and Mike Engaged

Kate and Mike brought along their sweet pup to their Charleston engagement session. Dabo is a German Shepherd, and even as a puppy I think he probably is equal to 2 of Kate. I had to laugh a few times as I watched him pull her around downtown Charleston. It’s a good thing he was already well trained :) Kate and Mike are getting married at the beautiful Magnolia Plantations, but decided that they wanted to do their engagement session in downtown Charleston to show off a different part of their city. We started off around Waterfront Park, and wandered the surrounding streets. The great thing about Charleston is that no matter where you are, there’s a great place to take photos every two steps. I never get as far as I think I will, because there are just too many gorgeous locations! We ended up at Hampton Park, just a little bit further north in downtown. I love meeting couples like Kate and Mike, who are so full of laughter. I love the expressions they have in this first photo…their smiles say it all!
