Alicia and Rob got married at the beautiful oceanfront venue at the Seabrook Island Club. They were supposed to get married in May of 2020…but…you know the rest of that story. They held out hope for a little bit, but finally decided to move their wedding date to the fall. When they chose their new date, they realized how perfect it actually was! They were married on October 31st, on the five year anniversary of the night they met. (But this time they were dressed up a little differently…) Not only that, but it was a blue moon, so their friends and family had a good time throwing around the phrase, “This could only happen once in a blue moon!”
I loved hearing throughout the day of how these two care for each other. Alicia’s maid of honor talked about how Rob will do literally anything if it makes Alicia happy. Her dad said he couldn’t have asked for a better man for his sweet daughter. And Rob’s brother said how quickly Alicia became part of the family (and how he’ll even give up his favorite spot on the couch for her. Apparently all of the Columbro men will do anything for sweet Alicia!!)
The first time I photographed Alicia and Rob was when they traveled down from New York for their engagement session. They both admitted they were nervous to be in front of the camera (I mean, who isn’t?!) but by the end of the session, Rob told me that he was ready for his new calling as an Instagram model :) But seriously, these two are gold in front of the camera! Whenever I told them to cuddle up, they just fell into each other’s arms perfectly, with the most contented smiles on their faces. They were the same exact way a year later on their wedding day.
Alicia and Rob, the love and respect I see between you two is so beautiful, and I wish you nothing but the best!
