Charleston Wedding at Legare Waring | Taylor + Ryan

Taylor and Ryan’s Charleston wedding at Legare Waring was just perfection. I had the best day with the two of them. First of all, I love when my couples say they’re going to be awkward in front of the camera and then they look like this. Taylor and Ryan, yeah, you’re both very photogenic. Just own it. I have so many couples that say they’re going to be awkward and then end up being amazing…I feel like I should tag myself as “The photographer for the awkward couple who are actually models, they just didn’t know it.” 

Taylor and Ryan had one of the coolest ceremonies I’ve ever seen. They had each picked out a few words that describe the other prior to their wedding day. They wrote the words on stones and had them placed in a scale on a table next to the altar. At the ceremony, they would pick up a stone and read the word, and their officiant would read what each word meant to them. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen at a ceremony. They both talked about how selfless the other person is…Taylor going overseas to volunteer her time for many years of her 20’s, Ryan picking up and moving to be closer to Taylor when she came back to the States, even though he had a great job in Charleston. You can tell these two will do anything to serve each other and to make each other feel loved and valued.

Also, it was a fun day because it was Taylor and Ryan’s wedding, and me and my second photographer are Taylor and Rian. Basically, you just said Taylor or Ryan and we would all look up!
