Kayli + Grant

An anniversary session in Chicago, Illinois

While I was in Chicago over the summer, I met up with Kayli and Grant for an anniversary session. We all went to Wheaton College waaaaay back in the day :) and it was so sweet to meet up with them. While we didn’t know each other well in college, we had so much to talk about! I think that happens when you go to the same college and then get to talk about life experiences post-college. They are still living in the Chicago area, and being back near our college town made me so nostalgic for all things Wheaton. They brought their crazy adorable puppy to the session as well. I always love the outtakes from a session with a dog. I’ve included a few of those for your viewing pleasure :)

So as I’m typing this, it’s in the sixties and it’s a week until Christmas. I feel silly every time I get in my car with short sleeves and the windows rolled down with the Christmas music playing. It’s just hard to sing along to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas when I’ve got my shorts and sunglasses on. So I suppose this sunny-summer post will go perfectly with this December weather :)
