I’m so excited that I can finally share Taylor’s bridal portraits with you! She and Logan were married at the Wingate Plantation in May, and a few months before we met out there for some bridal portrait fun. I always encourage bridals, either before or after your wedding, because who doesn’t want to wear your dress twice? When I first met Taylor for coffee last year, we found out that we are basically twins. We both come from biracial families, both have the name Taylor, and we’re both the oldest sibling. And after her wedding, she was moving to the Seattle area, which is where I’m from. I love bride-twins! And even more I love when I can get to know my couples before their wedding day, whether that be by engagement sessions, bridal sessions, or just meeting up for coffee or drinks! Now for the fancy part! Taylor’s first dress (which she wore for her ceremony) was actually a tulle skirt that fit over the actual dress. So come reception time, she would take the skirt off to reveal “dress number two!” What a great way to show off one dress in two ways! And then the rain started…luckily we had some clear white umbrellas and help from Taylor’s mom, sister, and her best friend Sarah, who also happens to own Wingate Plantation with her family! Thankfully, Wingate has a beautiful white tent on their property, so we were able to take some more photographs under the tent, as well as on the porch of the adorable bridal suite. Check back soon for the photos from Taylor and Logan’s beautiful wedding!
