I’m so excited to share this Zero George + White Point Gardens elopement on the blog today! I know, I know, y’all already know how much I love elopements. But I’m gonna talk about it anyways :)
One of my favorite parts about this particular elopement is that Ariel and Will decided to go against tradition and do what felt comfortable. For them, this meant spending their whole wedding day together, just the two of them. Ariel helped Will straighten his bow tie and pin his boutonniere (I only helped a little bit…). The only time they were apart was the few seconds when Will was waiting for their first look while Ariel got into her wedding dress. I also loved that they still wanted to have details be a part of their elopement. They had cards to send out to family and friends letting them know that they had eloped. Before their first look, they stood back to back and exchanged sweet notes they had written to each other.
After a sweet ceremony on the steps of the gazebo at White Point Gardens, where they both cried (Ariel a little more than Will :) ) we were able to stroll leisurely around the city taking portraits before heading back to Zero George to pop some champagne and cut the cake. The whole afternoon was filled with joyful smiles, laughs, tears, and a whole lot of heartfelt emotion.
Ariel and Will, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
Thank you to the wonderful vendors who made this day possible!
[…] “Oh, my goodness, where do I even begin?! We recently used Taylor as our elopement photographer and what an absolute JOY she was to work with! From the very first email sent, she was easy to communicate with and very prompt in her replies. Everything about the booking process was simple & clear cut. The day of, she arrived and was so easy going, and just overall comfortable to be around. Our pictures came out SO beautiful and better than I could have ever imagined. Her style has such a romantic, timeless look. Literally everyone who has seen our pictures has commented on how well the photos turned out. She is SO talented. Whether you are having an intimate ceremony with just the two of you, or a big wedding, do yourself a favor and use Taylor! We will cherish our wedding pictures forever!” -Ariel F. […]
